Do you prescribe Xanax?

No, we work very hard to address whatever is the underlining or root of anxiety and panic. We do not prescribe Xanax on a regular basis.

Do I have to do a drug screening to receive stimulants or benzodiazepines?

Yes, all patients in this practice must submit to a drug screening to receive any stimulants or benzodiazepines.We are not looking for marjuanua , it's for informational purposes. We want to make sure nothing we prescibe will interact with something dangerous in your system.

Do I have to pay my co-pay prior to my visit?

Yes, your co-pay will be charged the day of your appointment.

Will my appointment be canceled if I do not complete my paperwork?

Yes paperwork is due 24 hours after the initial appointment is set. Appointments will be canceled. If you struggle with the computer , please let the staff know nad they can assist you.

If my insurance does not pay my bill, am I responsible for the bill?

Yes, if your insurance does not pay your bill, you are responsible for the self-pay fees.

Will I be charged for a visit or co-pay if I talk to my provider about medication refills or medication changes and or medication adjustments?

Yes, you are responsible for paying your co-pay and will be charged a visit if you speak to your provider on any platform.

Am I able to switch providers?​

Yes, if you have not built a good relationship with your provider, please reach out to the practice manager.

Can I be seen if I have an outstanding bill?

No you may not be seen if you have any kind of bill in this practice, your medications will not be refilled, you cannot be seen for therapy and you cannot see the provider. You must reach out to the practice manager for a payment plan.

Will refills be put in immediately?

No, the office policy is that refills will be done within 72 hours.

Can I call the provider’s personal cell phone?

No the only number that you can use is 410-508-0722

Can you print out new patient paperwork?

No. New patient paperwork must be done electronically if there is some circumstances that prohibit this you must make arrangements with the front office staff to come in in person prior to your appointment.

Can I be seen by the therapist without seeing a psychiatric provider?

No. In this practice a psychiatric provider must first do a psychiatric evaluation and then recommend therapy before you are placed on the therapist's schedule.

Can I be present in my adult child’s therapy session?

No, not without permission.

Can I be present in my child’s therapy session?

You should allow your child to have therapy on their own for the most part but can be present for collateral information.

Can I talk to my provider when I call into the office?
